Recruiting Rundown’s High School Top 25, Week 9 – May 24th

With a two-week break since the most recent rankings, there are changes towards the top after some notable postseason rankings. Of course, Landon (Md.) recently clinched the mythical national championship with a 16-7 drubbing of IAC rival Bullis in the conference final. Elsewhere, Brunswick (Conn.) supplants Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) in the No. 4 spot after running the table in the NE West. Teams like Calvert Hall (Md.), Deerfield (Mass.), Manhasset (N.Y.) and Cherry Creek (Colo.) receive strong promotions, while Ward Melville (N.Y.), Smithtown East (N.Y.) and Conestoga (Pa.) re-enter the rankings. For the rest, jump below.
Note: as of last Wednesday, all of St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) wins were vacated after the Friars self-reported an ineligible senior who broke rules by playing five years of high school lacrosse. With that said, I’ve decided to pull SA from the rankings since they’re essentially winless due to forfeited games.
