Sideline Swap / Recruiting Rundown Top 25 Private School Rankings: Week 5

WickLaxWEST1-5-7.jpgWith conference play starting to heat up, there’s a little bit more clarity each week to the Private School Top 25 powered by SidelineSwap.com – lacrosse’s marketplace to buy, trade & sell gear. The top three of Bullis, McDonogh and Calvert Hall remains the same, though they’ll all face stiff challenges between now and the next set of rankings.

Tuesday’s results caused some shakeup, most notably Haverford (Pa.) pulling a miraculous comeback to beat rival and former No. 4 Malvern Prep (Pa.) to win 10-9 despite being down 9-5 after three quarters. The Fords had just been blown out by Gonzaga (D.C.) by six on Saturday, but rebounded to top the Friars for a morale-boosting victory, now moving up to No. 8.
Gonzaga, McDonogh, Loyola and Calvert Hall also made statements, while Brunswick (Conn.) knocked off previously undefeated Taft (Conn.) in OT on Wednesday. In New Jersey, new No. 25 Princeton Day School pulled a shocking 10-6 upset over nationally ranked Hun, who will be included in next week’s inaugural Prep Top 10.
