Sideline Swap / Recruiting Rundown Top 25 Private School Rankings: Week 3

A wild past week caused some shakeup in today’s Recruiting Rundown private school rankings powered by SidelineSwap.com – lacrosse’s marketplace to buy, sell & trade gear.

Due to their overall body of work, McDonogh stays on top despite a narrow loss to Bullis (highlights here) last week. The Bulldogs move to No. 2, though they’ll have to get past surging Boys’ Latin on Friday in the PNC Invitational at Loyola’s Ridley Athletic Complex. The Lakers put together a pivotal 10-8 win over Gonzaga on Tuesday afternoon, paced by five goals from Syracuse recruit Logan Wisnauskas.

Otherwise, not a whole lot changes. St. Paul’s and Georgetown Prep swap spots after the Crusaders topped the Little Hoyas on Tuesday. Going down the list, the bottom half of the rankings looks awfully similar to last week’s rankings, though Delbarton (N.J.) falls a few spots after losing a three-overtime battle to in-state rival Summit on Wednesday afternoon.

Things will heat up over the next few days, especially in the Northeast. Chaminade (N.Y.) will host St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) on Thursday afternoon on Long Island, which is intriguing for rankings purposes, as the Wildcats took McDonogh to four OT’s this week. Brunswick (Conn.) will also engage in a crucial contest, traveling to Deerfield Academy (Mass.) on Saturday.
