Boston, MA – Lax Sports Network, a 24-hour digital sports network dedicated to the sport of lacrosse, announced today that the network would produce nine high school games featuring some of the best schools in the Baltimore and Northern Virginia area, according to Chief Operating Officer Rob Wallace.
“Lax Sports Network is proud to be able to feature some of the best prep school matchups in the nation this season,” said Wallace. “These games will not only feature some of the most prestigious programs out of the Mid-Atlantic, but competition from Canada, Indiana and Connecticut as well.”
In addition to the live broadcasts, each week’s games will be rebroadcast at 7:00PM ET on Sunday evenings as part of LSN’s Prep Sunday feature.
The schedule is highlighted by nine teams ranked in Recruiting Rundown’s National Top 25 from last season’s final poll including the WCAC champions, Gonzaga out of the nation’s capital.
“The coaches, players and staff at Gonzaga could not be more excited to play on LSN this spring. We put forth so much effort to compete and never give up in our program. I firmly believe this is the same effort you get with the LSN staff and crew. First class all the way with them! The Gonzaga Eagles are honored to play on such a fantastic network,” said Casey O’Neill, head varsity lacrosse coach and athletic director at Gonzaga College High School.

“We are very excited about having our Landon-Gonzaga game broadcast live this spring. Our games the past decade have been very competitive, and last spring’s game was one of the most exciting contests that I’ve ever been involved with. The atmosphere was electric and both teams put forth heroic effort. I suspect that this year’s game will be another classic and we are pleased that Lax Sports Network will allow an even larger audience to enjoy this wonderful matchup,” said Rob Bordley, head lacrosse coach at Landon School in Bethesda, MD.
LSN has teamed with Synthesis Multimedia Productions, a Mid-Atlantic based video production and broadcast company, as the lead production team for these prep school games. “We are excited about the partnership with the Lax Sports Network, said B.J. Koubaroulis, CEO at Synthesis Multimedia Productions. “It’s no secret that the Mid-Atlantic is fertile ground for developing the best high school lacrosse players in the world. Our state of the art broadcast technology is going to give lacrosse fans around the world an opportunity to watch these brand name programs and the nation’s top recruits in a television-style viewing experience that is often unheard of at the high school sports level.”
“St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes is honored to be a part of the game schedule put together by LSN for this spring. We are very humbled to have been chosen and are privileged with the opportunity to represent our school, conference and the state of Virginia,” said Andy Taibl, head lacrosse coach at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School. “This will no doubt be a wonderful experience for all the schools involved but more importantly for the kids and the sport of lacrosse at the high school level. Our program has had the pleasure of working with BJ Koubaroulis and his company before and it was a great experience so we are very excited about this upcoming opportunity.
