combine_imagesCommitments are starting to come in at a rapid pace as the November recruiting circuit came to a close on Sunday.

Recruiting Rundown hit a ton of events this past month, covering the NLF Fall Frosh Showcase, Quaker Fest, 2017/2018 Champions League, 2019 Champions LeagueTerrapin Classic, Adrenaline Invitational and Big 12 Invitational. Check back on Monday and Tuesday night for wrap-ups on the players that impressed at NXT’s Philly Showcase events for 2017’s, 2018’s and 2019’s.


The submit commit forms were redone and are the easiest way to have verbals posted here on Recruiting Rundown. Here they are for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

2019’s

Gabe Galbraith, LSM/D, Highland Park (Tex.) / Texas Mustangs has committed to Ohio State. During the summer months, he attended Big 4 Champions League, Young Guns, Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip and MD Young Guns. Also playing club with Madlax, he attended the Big 4 Champions League and will attend the Philly Freshman Showcase this weekend. Galbraith also visited Hopkins.

Dylan Gardner, LSM, Xaverian Brothers (Mass.) / Laxachusetts has committed to Michigan. Named to the All-Star Game at NLF Futures, he also attended the Platinum Cup, Big 4 Champions League and Legacy. The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete also plays soccer, visiting Maryland before committing to the Wolverines. View his highlight reel here.

Timmy Lischer, M, Livonia (N.Y.) / SweetLax has committed to Michigan. This past summer, Lischer attended Big 4 Champions League, SweetLax Invitational (All-Star), IL Invitational, Maryland Young Guns and the Liberty Bell Challenge. He also considered Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Penn State, Syracuse and Albany.

Christian Tomei, G, Oxbridge Academy (Fla.) / Palm Beach Revolution has committed to Ohio State. Standing 6’2 and 200 pounds, Tomei was named a Fab 40 All-Star at Saturday’s Philly Freshman Showcase and also attended Nike Blue Chip in the summer. He also visited Towson, Maryland and Duke.

Gavin Peene, A/M, Ridgewood (N.J.) / NJ Riot has committed to Air Force. This fall, Peene attended Philly Freshman Showcase, FLG in 3d, Rider MVP and the Lax Evo Fall Invitational. In the summer, he made stops at the NXT Philly Invitational and FLG Legit 120. Set to join his older brother at Air Force, Peene also visited Princeton and Army.

2018’s

Josh Dawick, A, Appleby College (Ont.) / Edge has committed to Denver. The 5’9, 150-pound shooter as highlighted at the NLF Fall Frosh event, also attending NSCLA, Crabs Young Guns and the All-Canada Games, where he was an All-Star. In box, Dawick was the OLA Midget Overall MVP and All-Star. He also visited Maryland, Princeton and Cornell.

Jack Traynor, A/M, Malvern Prep (Pa.) / Mesa Fresh has committed to Penn State. This summer, he was an All-Star at Bison Brawl and IL Invitational, also attending the Adrenaline Platinum Cup and Black Card. The 5’8, 155-pound sophomore also visited Georgetown, Maryland, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Villanova and Loyola.

Bobby Abshire, M, Commack (N.Y.) / Team Long Island has committed to Army. Abshire put up 16 goals and four assists as a freshman, also playing soccer and basketball. This past summer, the 6’0, 170-pound athlete attended the Long Island Showcase, Crabfeast, U-15 National Championships, Liberty Bell Challenge and FLG in 3d. Also visited Maryland, Rutgers and Penn State.

Matt Dancsecs, M, Roxbury (N.J.) / Blue Star has committed to Rutgers. An All-Star at the Big 12 Invitational and King of the Hill, he also attended Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Under Armour Shootout, Terps Young Guns, Big 4 Champions League and Philly Showcase.

Brian Cosgrove, D, Smithtown East (N.Y.) / LI Outlaws has committed to Binghamton. The fourth 2018 commit for the Suffolk County champion Bulls, Cosgrove attended Legacy and Crabfeast last summer.

David Bartkus, M, Bedford (Mass.) / Fighting Clams has committed to Sacred Heart. This past summer, he attended the Philly Summer Invitational, FLG in 3d and SweetLax Invitational. Standing 5’11 and 150 pounds, Bartkus also plays varsity hockey. In addition to SHU, he visited Robert Morris and Hartford.

Charlie Marculewicz, LSM/D, Severn (Md.) / Baltimore Crabs has committed to Navy. This past summer, he attended Crabfeast. Also visited Air Force and Denver.

2017’s

Matt Blevins, M/FO, Hilliard Davidson (Oh.) / Resolute has committed to Detroit. This summer, he attended Adrenaline Black Card, NSCLA Showcase, FLG in 3d and Crabfeast. The 5’9, 155-pound athlete also participates in football and wrestling, choosing the Titans after visiting Robert Morris.

Tommy Mott, A, Highlands Ranch (Colo.) has committed to Lafayette. This summer, he attended Maverik Showtime, SweetLax Invitational, Best of the Best and Denver Shootout. Mott also visited St. John’s, Lehigh and Monmouth.

Timmy Phillips, D, Chaminade (N.Y.) has committed to St. Joseph’s. Playing club ball with both SweetLax and FLG, Phillips was an All-Star at FLG in 3d, also attending Philly Showcase, IL Invitational and King of the Hill. The 6’2, 185-pound junior also plays varsity basketball for the Flyers. He visited Colgate and Richmond before deciding to play his college ball in Philly.

Jake Nicolosi, A, West Islip (N.Y.) has committed to Manhattan. This summer, he was an All-Star at FLG Legit 120 and made it to the round of 88 at the Long Island UA underclass tryouts. Nicolosi also plays football and visited Salisbury before committing to the Jaspers.

Wade Agaisse, A, Delbarton (N.J.) / Patriot has committed to Manhattan. The 5’7, 160-pound athlete attended Maverik Showtime, Super Sophs and events with Chuck Reubling’s Patriot Lacrosse program, also participating in varsity wrestling during the winter. He also visited St. Joseph’s, Marist and Fairfield. Take a look at Agaisse’s highlight reel here.

Tucker Ballbach, G, Radnor (Pa.) / NXT has committed to Furman. A state champion as a sophomore, he was a Top 44 selection at the UA Philly tryouts and also an All-Star at the Philly Showcase. In the summer, he attended Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Legacy and NXT Philly Invitational. The 5’10, 170-pound athlete is also a WR and DB on the varsity football team, visiting Bucknell, Holy Cross and Richmond before choosing the Paladins.

Will Ramos, G, Nyack (N.Y.) / Prime Time has committed to Albany. Named an All-Star at Maverik Showtime, King of the Hill and IL Invitational, he’s also a three-time All-County and All-League selection. Also playing varsity soccer and basketball, the 5’10, 160-pound junior will attend the Philly Showcase team portion this weekend, having already attended the Legacy Invitational and Adrenaline Fall Invitational this fall. He visited Colgate, UMass, Rutgers, Syracuse and Providence before deciding.

Stephen Russo, G, Livingston (N.J.) / Building Blocks has committed to Cleveland State. Last spring, he was 2nd Team All-State Freshman/Sophomore, earning All-Conference HM recognition after saving 64 percent of the shots he saw. In the summer, Russo attended the Crab City Challenge, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, IL Invitational and NXT Philly Invitational. He also visited St. Joseph’s, Holy Cross, Marist and West Point.
