25 recent verbal commitments to report this week, including four 2019’s and pledges to NCAA tournament teams Denver, Hopkins, Maryland, Cornell, Syracuse, Brown and High Point. ICYMI, take a look at the early analysis of the top five recruiting classes for 2017s and 2018s published in the last few days.

The submit commit forms were revamped this week and are the easiest way to have verbals posted here on Recruiting Rundown. Here they are for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

2019’s

Jake Taylor, M, Regis Jesuit (Colo.) / Denver Elite has committed to Denver. This summer, he was an All-Star at the DU Summer Challenge and Adrenaline Challenge, also attending the IL Invitational, NSCLA, U-15 National Championships and several box events. The 5’10, 160-pound athlete also plays basketball. Taylor looked hard at Notre Dame, Ohio State and Brown before committing to the defending champion hometown Pioneers.

Michael Swirbalus, M, Westwood (Mass.) / Laxachusetts has committed to the admissions process at Cornell. Swirbalus picked up All-ISL honorable mention honors last year at Milton Academy before transferring to Westwood and re-classing. In the summer, he attended the Platinum Cup, Big 4 Champion’s League, B’more Showcase, Legacy and Crabfeast. The 5’10, 165-pound freshman also plays hockey, visiting Harvard, Princeton and Michigan before going with the Big Red.

Dan Maltz, A, Riverside (Va.) / SweetLax has committed to Maryland. The youngest Maltz will be following in the footsteps of his older brother, Dylan, a starting junior attackman for the Terps. This past summer, he was an All-Star at the SweetLax Invitational and IL Invitational, also attending the Liberty Bell Challenge, Maryland Young Guns and Big 4 Champion’s League. He also considered Ohio State, Hopkins, Penn State and Michigan.

Ben Finlay, D, Gonzaga (D.C.) / SweetLax has committed to Johns Hopkins. This past summer, he was an All-Star at the SweetLax Invitational, also attending Big 4 Champion’s League, Liberty Bell Challenge, MD Young Guns and IL Invitational. His older brother, Ryan, is ranked as the No. 87 player in the Class of 2016 and is headed to Brown. Finlay also considered Penn State, Michigan, Brown and UNC.

2018’s

Jack Kennedy, D, Ridgewood (N.J.) / NJ Riot has committed to Syracuse. Kennedy had a busy past summer, attending Nike Blue Chip, Fab Frosh, SweetLax Invitational, Liberty Bell Challenge, Best of the Best, MVP Towson, Champ Camp and UNC Team Camp. The 6’2, 190-pound defenseman also plays football and basketball, considering Rutgers, Richmond, Colgate, Army, Lehigh and Vermont before choosing the Orange, where older brother, Brett, will be signing next month.

Zack Nelson, A, Allentown Central Catholic (Pa.) / Big 4 HHH has committed to Air Force. This past summer, he attended the Platinum Cup, SweetLax Invitational, MD Young Guns and Big 4 Champion’s League. The 6-foot, 170-pound sophomore also visited Lehigh, Michigan and Princeton before making his final decision.

Luc Anderson, M, Culver Military (Ind.) has committed to the admissions process at Dartmouth. A member of 3d Colorado and Team Colorado in club ball, Anderson has plans to do a PG year after graduation. He was an All-Star at FLG in 3d and received All-State HM honors in the spring. The 5’11, 165-pound junior also plays hockey for Culver, visiting Georgetown and Army before choosing the Big Green.

Ridge Driscoll, LSM/D, Marblehead (Mass.) / Fighting Clams has committed to Holy Cross. The 5’11, 170-pound sophomore also plays hockey and golf and has plans this fall to attend the Philly Showcase, Crimson Classic, IL NE Prospect Day and the Mayflower Cup. This past summer, Driscoll attended the Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Hotbeds, SweetLax Invitational, Elite 100 and NE Top 150. He also visited Boston University.

Duke Lenaghan, D, Thayer Academy (Mass.) / Laxachusetts has committed to UMass. The 6’6, 180-pound sophomore attended Crabfeast, Big 4 Champion’s League, Legacy and Platinum Cup last summer. As a freshman, he received honorable mention All-ISL recognition. Lenaghan also visited Providence.

Jack Taylor, LSM/D, Churchill (Md.) / Blackwolf has committed to the admissions process at Brown. The 6’5, 175-pound longpole also plays ice hockey. During the summer, he was an All-Star at Baltimore Summer Kickoff, also attending MD Young Guns, UPLax, Under Armour Shootout and Freestate Top 22. Taylor also visited Dartmouth and Ohio State.

Will Jones, LSM/D, Bishop Moore (Fla.) has committed to Holy Cross. Playing club for Swarm and LCO this summer, he also individually attended the Southern Select Showcase. In the spring, he had one goal and 34 groundballs, also participating in football earlier in the year.

2017’s

Gavin Saylor, A/M, Parkland (Pa.) / Duke’s LC has committed to Hartford. The 6’2, 200-pound junior also plays football and basketball. Last summer, he attended the Platinum Cup, Lehigh Summer Showcase, Best of the Best, Liberty Bell Challenge and Champ Camp. Saylor also considered Lehigh, UMass, Stevenson and Salisbury. Joe Casucci, D, Fairfield Ludlowe (Conn.) has committed to UMass. The 6’3, 185-pound prospect plays club for Bulldog and the CT Chargers, attending Maverik Showtime, NSCLA and Crab City Challenge this past summer. In the fall, he’ll be attending the Hofstra Blue & Gold Fall Classic, Jake Reed’s Fall Nike Blue Chip and the Adrenaline Invitational. He also visited Air Force, Fairfield, Hofstra, Michigan, Richmond and Yale.

Davis Cronin, M/FO, New Hampton (N.H.) / Laxachusetts has committed to Binghamton. In the summer, he attended NSCLA, Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, Legacy and Philly Summer Invitational. The 5’9, 155-pound junior also visited Merrimack, Wesleyan and Hartford.

Peter Dobbs, G, St. Peter’s Prep (N.J.) / LI Sting has committed to Holy Cross. Standing 6’3, 180 pounds, he was an All-Star at Philly Showcase, Top 205 and Blue Chip 225, also attending the Endless Summer Classic and Champ Camp. Dobbs also visited Vermont, Richmond, Providence and St. Joseph’s. His highlight reel can be seen here.

Erik Peters, G, Rock Canyon (Colo.) has committed to High Point. Playing club for DoCo and Team Colorado, he was an All-Star at the Vail Showcase, Adrenaline Shootout and Brine National Classic. The 6-foot, 160-pound junior also plays tennis for his high school.

Keegan Santos, LSM/D, New Hanover (N.C.) / Cape Fear Shamrocks has committed to Hofstra. He was an All-Star at Hotbeds and Gait Cup this summer, earning All-Conference and All-Area recognition during the spring season. Also playing football, the 5’11, 185-pound junior also visited Mt. Jason Sullivan, M, Dr. Phillips (Fla.) / LB3 has committed to Cleveland State. This summer, Sullivan attended the IL Invitational and NXT Summer Invitational with plans set this fall to attend Legacy in Massachusetts with LB3 National. The 5’10, 155-pound junior also visited Jacksonville, Mercer and Young Harris.

Ryan Aughavin, M, North Shore (N.Y.) / 3d Tristate has committed to Binghamton. Aughavin was an All-Star at Hotbeds, Philly Summer Invitational and Big 4 Champion’s League, also attending FLG in 3d. This fall, he plans on hitting the Crimson Classic, Quakerfest and FLG in 3d. Also playing football and basketball, he visited Army, Marist, Stony Brook and Bryant.

Mike McCardell, G, Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) / Amped has committed to VMI. The former transfer from Cape Henry Collegiate (Va.) plays club with the Richmond-based Amped program, attending NHSLS with TP and making the All-Star Game at the FLG Legit 120.

2016’s

Cristian Edwards, LSM/D, Churchill (Md.) / Madlax has committed to Syracuse. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior attended the Under Armour Shootout and Platinum Cup, making the East Coast Showcase ASG last fall.

Cole Baker, M, Valor Christian (Colo.) / Denver Elite has committed to Delaware. This past summer, he attended National 175, Liberty Bell Challenge, NSCLA, DU Ascension and IL Invitational, where Baker was named an All-Star. The 6’2, 170-pound senior put up 20 goals and 18 assists in the spring for the state runners up, earning All-State honors.

Brandon Ruditz, LSM, Boca Raton (Fla.) / Swashbucklers has committed to Cleveland State. The 5’10, 170-pound senior also plays football – his lax highlight reel can be seen here. Ruditz considered Tampa, Wagner and Mt. St. Mary’s before deciding on the Vikings. His highlights can be seen here.

Mark Urso, M/FO, Newtown (Conn.) / Eclipse has committed to Cleveland State. After earning first team All-Conference honors in the spring, he was an All-Star at Brine National Classic, IL Invitational and Elite 100. Urso also visited Monmouth, Salisbury and Manhattanville.

Garrett White, D, Ann Arbor Pioneer (Mich.) / Juiced Cherries has committed to Cleveland State. The 6’3, 170-pound senior was 3rd team All-State in the spring, named to the All-Tournament Team at the IL Invitational, also attending the Brine National Classic and Best of the Best. White also visited Detroit and Michigan State.
