Among them, NCAA tournament participants North Carolina, Ohio State, Maryland, Towson and High Point have recruits announced, as well as Princeton, Bucknell, Holy Cross, Fairfield, UMBC, Vermont, St. John’s and Cleveland State.

2019’s

Joe Destro, LSM, Don Bosco (N.J.) / Patriot has committed to North Carolina. Destro was a standout at Nike Blue Chip this summer, attending NSCLA, Philly Showdown, Young Guns and Jersey Shootout, making the All-Star Game at the IL Invitational. The 5’11, 180-pound freshman is also a running back in football. Destro also considered Hopkins and Maryland.

Dawson Wynne, M, Salisbury (Conn.) / SweetLax has committed to Maryland. The son of longtime Crimson Knights head coach Bobby Wynne, he had a busy summer, attending Big 4 Champion’s League, Liberty Bell Challenge and Maryland Young Guns with All-Star Game performances at IL Invitational and SweetLax Invitational. He also considered Hopkins, Duke, Harvard, Denver, Penn State and Cornell.

2018’s

Alex Reid, M, Loyola Blakefield (Md.) / FCA has committed to Towson. Named to August’s Class of 2018 Watchlist, Reid ran second line in 2015 with two other freshmen and currently plays for the Dons’ varsity soccer team. This summer, he attended Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, Crabfeast, U-15 Nationals and the Under Armour tryouts in Baltimore, making the Top 88. He also looked at Maryland, High Point, Ohio State and Yale.

Alex Vardaro, M, Hewlett (N.Y.) / LI Sting has committed to the admissions process at Princeton. This fall, he has plans to attend Quakerfest and Yale Bulldog Classic, following up a summer in which he was an All-Star at Legit 120, Long Island Showcase and FLG in 3d and attending Maverik Showtime. In the spring, Vardaro put up 56 points and was an All-County nominee, also being recognized as All-Conference as a freshman on varsity soccer. He also visited Harvard and Cornell. Patrick Drake, A/M, Salesianum (Del.) has committed to Fairfield. Playing club for the Duke’s LC and Big 4 HHH, the 5’11, 150-pound playmaker attended Platinum Cup, 3d Lacrosse Playday, Big 4 Champion’s League and Maryland Young Guns. In the upcoming fall circuit, he plans to attend the Philly Showcase, QuakerFest and Big 4 Champion’s League. Drake also visited Lehigh.

Evan Malgier, LSM, St. Augustine (N.J.) / SouthShore has committed to Ohio State. The 5’11, 165-pound sophomore attended Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, B’more Showcase, Crabfeast, Philly Showcase, Baltimore Summer Kickoff and Legacy Invitational. He also visited Fairfield, in addition to considering Duke, Penn State, Rutgers and Delaware. His highlight reel can be seen here.

Brandon Fisher, M, Paul VI (Va.) / VLC has committed to Ohio State. The 6’3, 170-pound athlete was an All-Star at Baltimore Summer Kickoff, also attending Nike Blue Chip, Crabfeast, NHSLS, UPLax and Maryland Young Guns. Fisher also visited Notre Dame, Rutgers, Michigan, Georgetown, Maryland and Princeton.

Jack Collins, A, Taft (Conn.) / 3d New England has committed to the admissions process at Bucknell. The 5’10, 165-pound sophomore attended Baltimore Summer Kickoff, SweetLax Invitational, Adrenaline Black Card and Maverik Showtime this past summer. As a freshman, he started all 17 games and put up 28 points, also playing football and basketball. Collins visited Penn State, Colgate, Richmond, Dartmouth, Holy Cross and Fairfield.

Andrew Ponsetto, LSM/D, St. John’s Prep (Mass.) / 3d New England has committed to Holy Cross. The 5’11, 165-pound sophomore also plays hockey for Prep, putting together a busy summer by attending Denver Shootout, SweetLax Invitational, 3d National Camp and FLG in 3d. Ponsetto visited Michigan, Boston U. and Fairfield before making his final decision.

Dobson Cooper, M, Staples (Conn.) / CT Chargers has committed to Vermont. The 5’9, 160-pound junior hit the Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Liberty Bell Challenge, Best of the Best and Crabfeast this past summer. Participates in varsity lacrosse and swimming & diving. Cooper also considered Lafayette and Fairfield.

2017’s

Rowan Hart, M, Davis (Calif.) / ADVNC committed to Holy Cross in mid-July. The 5’10, 170-pound prospect attended Maverik Showtime, Adrenaline Black Card, NSCLA, IL Invitational and the Adrenaline Shootout. Also playing basketball in the winter, he chose Judd Lattimore’s Crusaders over Albany, Marquette, Sacred Heart and Providence.

Mackenzie Iacocca, M, Bishop Macdonell (Ont.) / Edge has committed to St. John’s. This summer, he attended NSCLA, Crab City Challenge and the Midsummer Classic. Also playing hockey, the 5’10, 175-pound prospect also considered Vermont, Marquette, Towson and UMass.

Josh Dahl, D, Orchard Park (N.Y.) / SweetLax has committed to Albany. This summer, he attended the Big 4 Champion’s League, SweetLax Uncommitted Showcase and Invitational, Liberty Bell Challenge and FLG in 3d. Dahl also considered Mercyhurst, LeMoyne and Hartford.

Steven Zichelli, A, Severna Park (Md.) / API has committed to UMBC. This summer, he was an All-Star at UA Shootout, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Trilogy Gettysburg and FLG in 3d, also attending Crabfeast and the Maryland Free State game. He also visited Towson and Mt. St. Mary’s.

Michael Zichelli, M, Severna Park (Md.) / API has committed to UMBC. Zichelli was an All-Star at Trilogy Gettysburg, also attending FLG in 3d, UA Shootout, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, WaveLax/FreeState Game and Crabfeast. He also visited Towson and Mt. St. Mary’s.

2016’s

Patrick Fitzsimmons, G, Chaminade (Mo.) / Missouri 22 has committed to Cleveland State. This summer, he attended the Prep School Showcase, Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip and Hotbeds, where Fitzsimmons was an All-Star. Stands 5’11 and 180 pounds.

Chase Baker, A, Sylvania Northview (Oh.) / Premier has committed to Cleveland State.  The 6’2, 170-pound recruit attended Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip and National 175 last summer. Baker also considered Rollins, Florida Southern, Colorado Mesa, Holy Cross and High Point.

Ricky Koehler, M, DeMatha (Md.) / Rock has committed to High Point. The 6’5, 210-pound senior also considered Mt. St. Mary’s and Detroit.
