From Press Release – The NLF is excited to announce their upcoming Fall Freshmen Showcase, held at Boys’ Latin in Baltimore on November 1st, 2015. Twelve of the best 2019 teams in North America will compete in front of the staffs of the best collegiate lacrosse programs in the country.
Check out the lineup of teams attending – Baltimore Crabs (host), Team 91, Long Island Express, Big 4 HHH, Leading Edge, Laxachusetts, True Michigan, Atlanta Thunder, Madlax, Edge Canada, C2C Dallas and LI Express North. As always with the NLF, the best from Long Island, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New England and New Jersey will attend. In addition, we are bringing in some of the best from the South, Midwest, Southwest and even Canada.
“I am thrilled to be a part of this event. My team will be playing against the best at the historic Boys’ Latin School in front of every college coach in the country,” says Jim Mule, former MLL great and current NLF partner and head coach of Team 91s 2017 and 2019 teams. “It will be a great day for Team 91 and it will be a great day for the other 11 teams involved.”
2019 student-athletes first showed up on college coaches’ radars over this past summer. The November recruiting period will be one of the last opportunities for 2019s to play in front of college coaches until next summer. The NLF was formed in order to insure our players compete in high exposure events against the best competition in the country. This Fall Freshmen Showcase will certainly provide that opportunity.
