October has always been a busy time for commitments, as recruit attend prospect days and narrow down their respective decisions heading into the fall recruiting circuit. With that said, 13 Division I programs received verbals in today’s Rundown piece, highlighting players from a plethora of different clubs all over the country. Blake Rondeau, LSM/D, La Salle (Pa.) / Big 4 HHH has committed to Boston University. This summer, the 5’10, 155-pound sophomore attended Platinum Cup, Big 4 Champions League and several prospect camps, making an All-Star Game appearance at Brown’s weekend.
Jimmy Rubino, LSM/D, Winston Churchill (Md.) / Blackwolf has committed to Penn State. Also playing varsity football, the left-handed 6’0, 150-pound sophomore made the All-Star Game at the East Coast Showcase last fall. In the summer, Rubino attended Baltimore Summer Kickoff, UPLax and Under Armour Shootout. He visited Maryland, Princeton, Dartmouth and Navy before picking the Nittany Lions.
Stelios Kroudis, A, Sparta (N.J.) / Building Blocks has committed to Villanova. This summer, he was an All-Star at the SweetLax Invitational at Lehigh Valley Showcase, also attending Black Card and Best of the Best. In the fall, he’ll be attending Legacy Super 8, Adrenaline Fall Invitational, FLG in 3d and Autumn Gold Showcase. Kroudis also visited Rutgers and Lafayette.
Alex Byron, D, Charlotte Country Day (N.C.) / Team Carolina has committed to Furman. This summer, Byron attended B’more Showcase, Crabfeast, Liberty Bell Challenge, NSCLA, New England Top 150 and East Coast Showcase. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect also plays football, considering schools such as Providence, Richmond and Villanova.
Whit Stopak, A, North Canton Hoover (Oh.) has committed to Hofstra. Playing club for Burning River and Resolute, the 5’9, 150-pound sophomore attended King of the Hill and Syracuse Shootout with All-Star Game performances at Maverik Showtime and MVP.
Brandon Meir, M/FO, Smithtown West (N.Y.) / FLG has committed to Binghamton. This past summer, he attended NHSLS, FLG in 3d, Nike Blue Chip and the NXT Philly Invitational. The 6-foot-1, 150-pound sophomore also considered Rutgers, Providence and Army.
Alex Burgmaster, M, Auburn (N.Y.) / CNY Roadhawks has committed to Colgate. This summer, he attended Maverik Showtime, Nike Blue Chip, the Under Armour Uncommitted Games with All-Star Game appearances at CT Super Sophs and the All-Canada Games. Standing 5’9 and 160 pounds, he also visited Siena, Hartford, Vermont and LeMoyne.
Jack Davies, A/M, Wando (S.C.) / Top Left Loggerheads has committed to Army. This summer, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete participated in Nike Blue Chip, MVP Towson and the NXT Philly Invitational. Also participating in basketball, Davies strongly considered Furman, Lafayette, High Point and Richmond.
Will Hynson, M, Rye (N.Y.) / Westchester Predators has committed to High Point. This summer, he attended Maverik Showtime, Prep Lacrosse Showcase, NXT and Super Sophs with All-Star Game appearances at Endless Summer and Baltimore Summer Kickoff, where he was written up here. In the spring, the 5’11, 165-pound athlete led his team’s midfielders in points and was 2nd overall as a sophomore, also starting in both football and hockey. Hynson also visited Marist, Vermont, Bucknell and Holy Cross.
Hunter Fasanaro, A, Weddington (N.C.) / Top Tier has committed to Quinnipiac. Fasanaro was atop the conference leaderboard in points last year, leading all 2017’s in NC in points over the past seasons. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound junior has been an All-Star at Maverik Showtime twice (with a shot clocked at over 90mph) and also made Fab Frosh’s ASG. Fasanaro also strongly considered Bucknell and St. Joseph’s.
Casey Perry, D, Lassiter (Ga.) / Thunder has committed to High Point. This summer, he attended the Baltimore Summer Kickoff, NSCLA Cup and SweetLax Invitational. Standing 6’1 and 175 pounds, he also has plans to attend UPLax on the third weekend of the upcoming fall circuit.
Nick Yi, M, Shipley School (Pa.) / Duke’s LC has committed to Cleveland State. The 5’10, 170-pound junior had a busy summer, attending Maverik Showtime, Adrenaline Black Card, SweetLax Invitational, Liberty Bell Challenge, Best of the Best and Champ Camp. Yi considered Bucknell, Lehigh, Williams and Princeton.
Ryan Gallagher, A, Marist (Ga.) / Thunder has committed to Rutgers. Gallagher attended Maverik Showtime, SweetLax Invitational, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, NSLCA, Prep School Showcase and Lake Placid this summer. The quick 5’7, 150-pound junior also visited Harvard, Maryland, Furman, Loyola, Holy Cross and Penn.
Hunter Narozniak, D, Barnegat (N.J.) / SouthShore has committed to NJIT. The defensive MVP for his team last year, he started as a freshman and is accomplished both football and wrestling, where he’s a Tri-County champion as well as 2x conference champion on the gridiron. This summer, the 5’10, 205-pound junior was an All-Star at MVP Towson and represented New Jersey at the Brine Nationals.
Zachary Hodge, M, Poway (Calif.) / 3d San Diego has committed to Cleveland State. The 5’11, 180-pound senior attended Nike Blue Chip, Under Armour Shootout, Greene Turtle Invitational, Denver Shootout and FLG in 3d this summer. He also strongly considered Air Force, Navy, UMBC and Westminster.
Tristen Copeland, M, Jay M. Robinson (N.C.) has committed to Cleveland State. Playing club ball with Team Carolina, this summer Copeland attended Champ Camp and the Philly Showcase Camp, where the 6’1, 175-pound athlete was an All-Star.
Dylan Kaminski, A/M, Heritage Woods (B.C.) has committed to Wagner. The 6’3, 205-pound senior plays box for the Langley Thunder and Coquitlam Adanacs, also participating in basketball, hockey and soccer. He also considered Furman, Hartford, Sacred Heart and Drexel.
