With three sets of Top 100 rankings going up last week, it’s been a busy time here on Recruiting Rundown as the summer ends and turns into fall. Now’s a good time to catch up on commitments with 16 verbals to a dozen different Division I programs.

2018’s

Jack Biestek, LSM/D, Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) / Carolina Cannons has committed to Notre Dame. The 6’3, 205-pound sophomore attended Jake Reed’s Blue Chip, IL Invitational, Crabfeast and NXT Philly. Also plays football and basketball. He chose the Fighting Irish after considering UVA, among others.

Sean Mooney, A, Kent Island (Md.) / Crabs has committed to Towson. Named to RR’s 2018 Watchlist, Mooney won a MIAA ‘A’ Championship with St. Mary’s this past spring, leading all freshmen in the league in the points category fro his starting role. The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete is a starting WR and safety on Kent Island’s varsity team.

Brian Mitrow, M, Hunterdon Central (N.J.) / Leading Edge has committed to Hobart. The 5’8, 145-pound sophomore played in events with Leading Edge this summer, also attending the NSCLA Showcase and Under Armour Uncommitted Game. View his highlight reel here.

2017’s

No. 89 junior Tommy Sopko, A, Conestoga (Pa.) / NXT has committed to Bucknell. He’s been an All-Star at Philly Showcase, Lehigh Showcase, Baltimore Summer Kickoff and MVP Towson since the fall recruiting circuit, also attending Maverik Showtime. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Bison recruit also plays hockey, choosing Bucknell after considering Syracuse, Cornell and Lehigh.

Tim Montgomery, A, Lenape (N.J.) has committed to Towson. Playing club for SouthShore and SJ Shamrocks, he was an All-Star at Baltimore Summer Kickoff and Philly Summer Invitational, also participating in the UA Uncommitted Game, Legacy and Crab City Challenge. Also considered Monmouth, St. Joseph’s and Salisbury.

Nick Salameda, LSM, Archmere Academy (Del.) / Crabs has committed to Colgate. This summer, he attended Adrenaline Black Card and Platinum Cup, NSCLA and Crab City Challenge. In addition to lacrosse, the 6’0, 175-pound Raider commit also participates in varsity cross country and swimming. He also considered other Patriot and Ivy League schools.

Devan Carroll, M, Manasquan (N.J.) / Leading Edge South has committed to Quinnipiac. The 6’2, 205-pound athlete also plays football. Before choosing the Bobcats, he considered Fairfield, Towson and Mt. St. Mary’s. Carroll’s highlight reel can be seen here.

Luke Niebrugge, A, South Oldham (Ken.) / Titanium has committed to Bellarmine. This summer, he attended the Ohio State Top 200, Bellarmine Prospect Camp, Tri-State Shootout and Legacy Lacrosse Invitational.

Justin Barragan, LSM/D, Great Oak (Calif.) / 3d San Diego has committed to Jacksonville. This summer, he attended Nike Blue Chip, Denver Shootout, Crab City Challenge and Big 4 Champion’s League. The 6’1, 170-pound junior also considered Vermont, Rutgers and Denison. His highlight reel can be seen here.

Shane Molloy, LSM/D, Guilford (Conn.) / Bulldog has committed to Towson. Also playing varsity soccer, the 6’1, 170-pound junior attended Maverik Showtime and NSCLA Showcase this summer.

2016’s

Matt Fedorjaka, A/M, Lewisburg (Pa.) has switched his commitment from Bucknell to Fairfield. The son of Bucknell head coach Frank Fedorjaka, the 6’2, 175-pound senior was an Elite 100 All-Star and made the Top 44 at DC Under Armour. Also plays varsity basketball. He chose the Stags after considering Hopkins, Quinnipiac, Bryant and Bucknell.

Dylan Marlborough, M/FO, Mattituck (N.Y.) / Team Long Island has committed to Stony Brook. This summer, the 6’1, 190-pound Seawolves commit attended Best of the Best, Liberty Bell Challenge, Champ Camp and Elite 100. Also plays football and wrestles.

Wills Hutras, M, Dublin Scioto (Oh.) / Titanium has committed to Bellarmine. The 6-foot, 185-pound senior played at the varsity level in football, hockey and lacrosse. This summer, the Titanium standout played at the IL Invitational and Brine National Classic. He also considered Denison, RIT and Ohio Wesleyan during the recruiting process.

Brandon Bank, LSM/D, Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) / LI Sting has committed to Furman. A postgrad out of Scarsdale (N.Y.), this past summer he attended the Prep School Showcase, Moonlight Showcase and events with Ken Miller’s Long Island Sting. In the spring season, he was All-Section and All-League in addition to competing in hockey and soccer during the rest of the year.

Justin Conner, LSM/D, Landon (Md.) / Greene Turtle South has committed to Cleveland State. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound athlete attended the Baltimore Summer Kickoff (named to the ASG) and UA Shootout, attending the Under Armour Underclass Games two summers ago to rep DC. Also a member of the Bears’ varsity football team, he also considered VMI, Mt. St. Mary’s and Bucknell, where his brother is an assistant.

Connor Chessock, A/M, Mount Tabor (N.C.) / Upper Shelf has committed to Bellarmine. The 6’2, 195-pound senior was an All-Star at the Under Armour Shootout, UNC Team Camp and Carolina Shootout, also attending the Baltimore Summer Kickoff. His spring highlights can be seen here.
