Today’s commitment writeups include four 2018’s, five 2017’s (including a ranked attackman to a top Patriot League) and a pair of 2016’s. Featuring a few dozen more verbals, last week’s Rundown pieces can be seen here and here.

2018’s

Braden Burke, LSM/D, John Jay (N.Y.) / Prime Time has committed to Duke. Burke played at the varsity level in football, basketball and lacrosse, where he thrived as a starter for the Indians. In addition to playing in events with Nick Daniello’s Prime Time squad this summer, he also attended Moonlight Showcase, Adrenaline Black Card, B’more Showcase and Maverik Showtime. Burke visited Princeton, Yale and Georgetown before going with the Blue Devils.

Connor Jacoby, A/M, Episcopal (Va.) / Top Caliber has committed to Navy. This summer, he attended Jake Reed’s Blue Chip, NHSLS and UPLax before choosing the Naval Academy over Loyola and Lehigh. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect played at the varsity level this past year in football, indoor track and lacrosse.

Marc Welch, D, Skaneateles (N.Y.) / Upstate LC has committed to Hobart. Standing 6’0 and 170 pounds, he also won a New York state championship with the varsity hockey team. Welch attended the Philly Invitational, Nike Blue Chip and Maverik Showtime. He considered Lafayette and Colgate before deciding to stay upstate and attend Hobart.

Michael Hagenberger, LSM/D, Mt. Sinai (N.Y.) / Long Island Empire has committed to Lehigh. Named the 2015 Suffolk County Class ‘B’ Rookie of the Year, he also represented Suffolk County in the Long Island Showcase and was an All-Star at the LI LaxFest.

2017’s

Patrick Donahue, A, Fenwick (Ill.) / True has committed to Marquette. This summer, he attended the IL Invitational, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Adrenaline Black Card, Crab City Challenge and NSCLA playing with both True National and True Illinois. Also considered Vermont, High Point, Navy and St. Joseph’s.

Jimmy Caddigan, A, Smithtown West (N.Y.) / LI Outlaws has committed to Colgate. Ranked as the 65th player in the ’17 class, the 5-foot-7, 165-pound recruit attended NHSLS, Under Armour Shootout, IL Invitational and National High School Lacrosse Classic this summer. He chose the Raiders over Army, Stony Brook and Boston U. Also plays football.

Matt Harris, A, Briar Woods (Va.) / VLC has committed to Colgate. Playing with the VLC Blue Crabs this summer, he attended the Under Armour DC tryouts, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, Crab City Challenge and WaveLax Top 22. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound rising junior picked Colgate after considering Jacksonville. Also plays varsity basketball.

Andrew Bauersfeld, D, New Canaan (Conn.) / Eclipse has committed to Vermont. This summer, he was an All-Star at Baltimore Summer Kickoff and King of the Hill, also attending the SweetLax Invitational and IL Invitational. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior also plays football for New Canaan.

Zach Granger, LSM/D, Penncrest (Pa.) / Duke’s LC has committed to Monmouth. This summer, the 6-foot, 160-pound prospect attend the Platinum Cup, Liberty Bell Challenge, Best of the Best, SweetLax Invitational and Champ Camp with the Duke’s. He chose the southern New Jersey program after considering UMass, Marquette, Cleveland State and Salisbury. Watch his highlights here.

2016’s

Connor Campbell, M, Juanita (Wash.) / West Coast Starz has committed to Marquette. An alum of Nike’s ‘The Ride’, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete is also a starter on the football team at both wide receiver and outside linebacker. Campbell strongly considered Rutgers and Tampa.

Jack Frickleton, A/M, Bainbridge Island (Wash.) / Team Washington has committed to Cleveland State. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound recruit also plays for the varsity football squad. His highlights can be seen here.
