Adrenaline Black Card & Platinum Cup Set To Take Place This Weekend In Pennsylvania

platinum_team_leak_total-666x666In what is the first huge weekend of recruiting events in a six-week gauntlet of tournaments and showcases, Adrenaline Lacrosse is set to once again the host the Black Card Showcase and Platinum Cup throughout the next three days . After holding it last year on the campus of Rutgers University, it will now take place on the sprawling campus of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, the site of ADRLN’s Fall Invitational this past November.

Friday’s Black Card – made for the nation’s top rising sophomores and juniors – has quickly solidified itself as a top three individual showcase (in just four years of existence) and has a phenomenal roster that will attract dozens of recruiters. On Saturday and Sunday, 11 of the top clubs out there will play for championships in the classes of 2016 through 2020. Many would argue that this is undoubtedly the best tournament of the summer, with extremely competitive and talented brackets that essentially determine the top clubs in each respective age group. My post-event coverage from last year can be seen at this link.

Black Card is an “at cost” event, meaning that the $200 player fee goes solely to field rental, refs and coaches. Participants receive an exclusive Adrenaline Treatment Pack containing custom STX Cell 3 gloves, Adrenaline Treated jerseys & shorts as well as Adrenaline Strife socks. Full rosters for Friday can be seen here on ADRLN’s site.

The Platinum Cup was created last year to bring the eight best club teams together at one venue in front of loads of college coaches, showcasing many of the nation’s top-ranked players. Make sure to follow @tyxanders and @adrenalinelax for updates and check back for recaps of the recruits and squad that stood out. The full schedule can be seen below:
